These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Grovio (the “Service”) at grovio.org. By creating an account or using Grovio, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The Service

Grovio uses AI to help you plan meals, build grocery lists, estimate costs against your budget, and find or build a shopping cart at nearby stores. Features may change or improve over time.

Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
• You're responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Grovio.

Important: meal, nutrition, and allergy disclaimer

Grovio's meal plans, recipes, and nutrition figures are AI-generated estimates for general informational purposes only. They are not medical, dietary, or nutritional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for advice about your health, diet, or any medical condition.

You are responsible for checking every ingredient and product label for allergens and suitability before buying or eating it. Grovio's “avoid” and allergy filters are best-effort and are not guaranteed to catch every allergen or restriction. Do not rely on Grovio if you have a serious allergy or medical dietary need.

Prices and availability

Costs, budgets, and savings shown in Grovio are estimatesand are not guaranteed. Actual prices, product availability, and totals vary by store, location, and time. Where a store is connected, pricing is provided by third parties and confirmed at that store's checkout.

Subscriptions & billing

• Grovio offers a free tier and a paid Grovio Pro plan (monthly or yearly). Free plans include a limited number of meal-plan generations.
• Paid plans are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime; access continues through the end of your current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
• Resell or misrepresent the Service as your own.

Intellectual property

Grovio and its branding, design, and software are owned by us. The plans and lists you create are yours; you grant us the limited rights needed to operate and improve the Service.

Third-party services

Grovio relies on third parties (for example payment, store, and AI providers). Their terms and policies also apply, and we're not responsible for their services.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is”without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your expectations.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grovio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any reliance on meal, nutrition, allergen, or pricing information. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

Termination

You can stop using Grovio at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; we'll post the new version here and update the date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Grovio operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
